Global Tax Reporting Platform for OECD Pillar Two Compliance
Consolidating complex tax inputs into a traceable calculation and reporting model for OECD Pillar Two / GloBE reporting.
The challenge
Corporate Tax needed a more transparent and repeatable way to analyse Pillar II obligations across jurisdictions. The process relied on fragmented sources and manual inputs, while the calculation model had to support Safe Harbour analysis, Effective Tax Rate calculations, Top-up Tax, QDMTT assessment and preparation for external review.
Model goal
Consolidate tax cube, ETRWEB, manual, PE/NCE, QDMTT and mapping inputs into a reusable analytical model.
Control goal
Make calculations easier to trace, review and reproduce across current and historical reporting years.
What was delivered
- Power BI reports with Power Query transformations, DAX measures and Snowflake SQL logic.
- Dynamic multi-year reporting using calculation-year parameters to switch between current and historical tax cube tables.
- Safe Harbour and full GloBE calculation logic covering ETR, Adjusted Covered Taxes, SBIE, Excess Profits, Top-up Tax and QDMTT payable.
- A consolidated reporting model that brings previously fragmented tax inputs into one reusable analytical workflow.
- Outputs that support Corporate Tax review before external-advisor handover.
Business value
- Improved transparency, traceability and audit readiness across jurisdictions.
- Reduced dependency on fragmented Excel-based processes.
- Enabled faster review of Safe Harbour results, ETR and tax exposure.
- Created a reusable model for multi-year analysis rather than isolated annual reporting.
